damn...i thought i said that one to myself
=)|||thx you eyepawd|||wtp nowz orx r nawt teh imbar anymorz. T.t'ed|||Having started as an UD only player last month (just got high speed), that strat is basically what got me off the ground and running from that first lvl 1 slump. I usually just used the curse on the banshee's though. Plus, I often play ffa, in which you need to have an abom or two to have a meat shield. BUT, once you actually posses a knight, they run. Besides, against human, they will expect a skely army when they see your base.|||I just played this strat and beat a lvl23 player (Azeroth)
I'd post the replay, but it says the file exceeds the max size (36kb?)
Oh well, lets just say i creamed him!|||I wouldn't say bash Orcs with Undead. Personally I think the banshee either overrated or underrated. I use them vs Orcs a lot though. Never really had much trouble with orcs as UD.|||i think orc wins this match up.|||I'm only a lvl 10 player, and i'm creaming much higher levels with this strat. Especially now i'll throw in an abom with disease, which is much more effective with the curse.|||Quote:

That's coz you fail. Btw, it was with undead that I beat your orc using only heroes. Stpu as always.

Don't bother with aboms, by the time you have them you can get dessies instead and they're like ten times better.|||by dessies, i assume you mean destroyers?
I guess, but I need a good meat up front to hold onto the grunts, so 2 aboms work wonders, and the disease eats them away with the curse on them.
I also tried with the gargs and fiends, but it's a little harder to focus fire, so i'll stick with fiends.|||believe it or not, frost armored fiends are pretty good tanks :P
You dont really need tanks for UD, the nature of UD fighting (assuming you've gone DK/Fiends) is to hit and run and coil and nova friendly/enemy units properly. You just keep doing this. If he has raiders, its much harder, but thats where frost armor comes in then :D|||Quote:

yeah, well maybe i'm just not as good a player as you, but i like to have some meat up there, especially when teaming with an NE on AT. I've started using a few extra ghouls instead though, they work great. Especially when you rush with vampiric aura and a necro scroll, but then it's nice to have three hero's instead of going for the lich only.
Also, has anyone tried this with gargs instead of fiends? the only problem I forsee is that with nothing on the ground, they will wipe out your hero's ASAP then run. Assuming you caught them off guard, that is.|||gargs lol.
Liich is likely the 2nd hero (i guess), wit dl or dk as 1st.|||hey, sometimes surprise is the best key.
I've found that orc's especially will go for grunts and raiders. Even if they were to net a few right off the bat, i can focus the hero with hardly anything in return.
All grunts will definatly get owned by this, but that's not very likely.
I like to use a garg or two to sneak around back, similar to a batrider for orcs and tease the other players. hey, anything to make them tp at the beginning of the game.|||
Also, for 2v2 games, i find that if you have banshee's with curse, they're not nearly as efficient as faerie fire.|||you won't use ghouls in any mooment of this strategy -_-
check the repkays
