Dealing with Hu Tower Rush as Ud

Yesterday i played this game on Turtle Rock against a Hu. I started off with the cookie cutter Altar first and harassing his creeping which turned out to be ok and i ended up coiling a high lvl creep and killing of his peasants. Now, I usually stop producing ghouls at 26 food(27 with aco scout) and then tech to Black Citadel after getting a lich and a slaughter house for mass aboms and some stats/destros. At Tier 2, the Hu picked up a Firelord and then came to my base and towered me. Killed all of his footies, but he still had like 6 summons + the 3 towers that went up. At that point i lost my DK and only had a lich and like 3 ghouls. (I couldn't save the DK because my shop went down first)

So, my question is: what should i have done to prevent this? Btw Right before this i send 2 skellie scouts and noticed some militia men going with him, but i only saw the TR coming when i saw the AM having 3 towers in inventory.|||#1. Micro better.

#2. Kill lava spawns. When they multiply things start to suck.

#3. Kill heroes. Force him to TP or kill them. Either way, you win cause then he won't be summoning anymore, etc.

#4. A tower won't hurt. Spirit preferred. Priority of targets: Casters, Lava Spawns, then whatever you want.|||Agreed about killing heroes. Fl would obviously die really fast to ghoul surround and coil/nova and then you dont have anymore summons. Best is prolly to try to kill his AM and force him to TP as FFL said. Then you can take care of his towers. ;o|||Go for the lava spawns. If they multiply, it's pretty much game over. Also, like the others said, kill the heroes - both FL and AM are pretty weak physically.|||Just a question. Why do people repeat the same thing that an original reply-er said? It's really just pointless. :)|||Quote:

They dont read what the other posters have written..|||Convert about four ziggurats to spirit towers, keep your army alive, behind your base to defend your towers. Build more acolytes to fix your buildings. But, most importantly, make as much seige as you can. It's then a fight between seige units with victory going to whoever has the most seige and/or the better seige microing skills (fire, then move to avoid the return barrage). Your spirit towers will become the inevitable target of the enemy siege units so be sure to make a a few backup ziggurats to keep your food supply healthy.

You won't need your hero to be at your base for this, so get him out to harrass the enemy workers while this is all happening and you'll secure a monetary advantage to invest in your seige units.|||Quote:

maybe spirit but 3 nova and 2 spirit is the best way to defeat human rush (foot- rifleman or even vasters) for motars i always have wagons hid in the trees some where its a good tqaktik (if goblin shop isthere) also take out his town hall/tree of life/necropolis or great hall with mass sappers.. ^^ works!!!|||*shoots black legion*|||i would prefer that you shot the ultramarines. them loyalist pigs.....death to the false emperor!!|||wtf, he's back?|||LuL its ED :D
