..what's with all this Beastman first stuff at the moment? Every friggin Top Replay I watch, they go BstM. What the hell is going on? :O|||A sarcastic question?

1. DH tanks better with evasion, and with rejuv/wells/pots/staff, you don't need that many hp.
2. They don't own so much that they can't be rivaled by other spells. The key to beating UD is still more or less BoF (most ppl seem to go BstM Panda though), and obviously manaburn leads to less coilnova, which is extremly thx (and btw also leads to better tanking). If you need better antiair than archers, you can get those lvl 4 trolls or similar on most maps.
3. Hell, NE has wisps, what d'you want more scouts for?
Obviously BstM can work, but why is he suddenly considered so awesome that the whole world is using him?|||BM has more HP than DH, meaning less susceptable to nuking; Since you can put pots of stuff on him also he is a better tank than the DH.|||How are UD heroes supposed to nuke when they don't have mana?
Edit: And there's also this thing called anti magic pot.|||Hawk have tru sight and can attack. So, you can't use windwalk, burrow, invi or use invi potions, hide etc etc.
He is a summoner that actually have significant hp.
I can't see any other reason.|||I'm talking about NE vs UD - If you want to go BstM FL Tinker vs Orc, fine, but I can't comprehend whats so sup about him vs teh fundead.|||He is a strong tanker at lvl one. Much stronger than the DH. You said that you can get Anti-magic potion, but that comes at tier 3. The DH is a much weaker tanker at lower levels than the BM. If the UD goes fiends the DH is ff'd really easily, unlike the BM, and will have to stop harassment much earlier.|||The ud obviously will be harasing the elf alot( if he isnt he is noob) so the beastmaster summons help alot in terms of mroe firepower for the anti harases and more meat to take away from the weak archers. But i still agree with DH more. The Dh brings more to the table in that with evasion he meats more effectively added with the mana burn which really paralizes the ud if u choose to be the haraser as elf. the DH is a haraser early game and with this fact it depends on what map your on/size, creep number.|||Evasion brings something to the table? If it affected all of the units around him then yes, but it only affects the DH and an UD would usually first own the archers with ghouls and only then would he focus the DH.|||Usually good players will not overly focus a good leve dh since because=hp pool is always very good) he has alot of armor and yes evasion.|||what i meant as bringing to the table is the mana burn btw, this this helps out the overall performance of the elf army especialy when used against aoe adept heros such as lich|||Exactly! Evasion doesn't help the other units and he wouldn't be focused down or attacked for a long time making one of his two important skills useless. On the contrary, the BstM with the summons helps a whole lot in terms of firepower for the whole army.|||i agree with that firepower enhancement thing the bm brings yes, but the skill mana burn is one of the most imba in the game(its what every pro complains about and if used correctly negates the whole nuking power of the ud army( which is its most important aspect. mana burn out outweighs the walking barracks that is the beastmaster. Mana burn might be good vs. one hero at a time, but not against all three. Also, keep in mind that the DH has insane amounts of armor, especially at later levels. Armor 11, anybody?
I have to agree with Infernal on this one. I don't see much of a use for the Bstm, except for truesight of the eagles in order to see burrowed fiends. However, most UD go ghoul/garg vs. NE anyways....|||Ghoul rushes can pwn elves easily...Or give them xtreme ammounts of experience.|||Agreed, UD wit Ghoul/CL own NE earlygame.
Go warden harras wit Hunts and Warden take blink first then take Knives and alternate to until you reach lvl 6 you should reach lvl 6 fast if you keep harras upo and creep dont get killed by his CL or DK they **** the Warden.
Take his corpses wit vengeance. He will build a graveyard send AVY into base ands use graveyard bodies, he gets ***** if you take out AVY and cover wit hunts and warden. Get DH second hero if you have lvl6 warden if not dontm cuz he'll get owned, but with AVY he has ample protection from your army and can observe to lvl, then he leads attacks and warden obs and protectsretreats. You wont win overly quick, youll have to wait till late teir 2 but that shouldnt be a problem.....|||I seriously hope thats a spellingerror...
