would this work?

like since peons, peasants...etc are so cheap and take up only 1 measely food couldnt u just mass peasants and kill his army? i mean all you need is a town hall, so build some townhalls in places so you can keep calling for militia and attacking his base, and they are fastly made, so u could attack their base before they got any units, and you could make about 90 of em. i mean 90 militia would own, since they are better than a footman anyways, and it would be had to micro with 90 militia men attacking from all sides. i'll have to try this out.=)|||I've tried, it doesn't work. A militia might stop an early rush, but in the long run they are useless. Even if they are marginally stronger then footmen, they have a timer and after like 30 seconds they are useless again. And producing 90 units takes time, I had like six townhalls and I still didn't have a full army when my enemy attacked (and the militia fell like flies to his well rounded army).

If this isn't meant to be taken seriously then I knew about that and was just playing along with the joke.|||no actually this was suppose to be taken seriously and thz for not flammin me but thx for replyin.|||did u literally mean 90 militia? Aside from ur original peasants...85 more peasents multiplied by 70 gold each equals 5950 gold (ouch). Besides, unless somehow maybe u spawned really close to them like on turtle rock, it wouldnt make sense to build a town hall near them. On the other hand if u did happen to spawn close to them, u can militia into a tower rush. But crazily massing them...iono if that would work against any race too well.|||mass acos were sometimes used in the early game by some random players, but of course its only good for early game since most of the time AOE and all that high dmg units are not in the picture. seriously, 90 peasants will not stand a chance against even a 50 food army.|||i've gotten to 90 peons before in FFA and it doesn't work well.

the only worker unit thing i had any success with was an aco rush, but it only beat the orc because of bad burrow placement. that or the NE who didn't build fast enough. so basically people who don't know what is going on.|||Yeah aco rushes can work on Echo and similar vs non-pros afaik. But building an army of workers for later doesnt cut it.|||It's pretty fun though, try it if you're bored.|||I also recommend http://www.wcreplays.com/audios.php?get=384 .

<3 downwhere <3|||90 acos, an aco rush, wtf! an aco wouldnt stand a chance against a millitia, so why an aco?|||well for one... bring sacrificial skulls.. zigs in your base is omfgwtf

aco rushes work esp. well against NEs going for hunts if you get them early. had that done to me- my DH got surrounded and even w/ immolation it wasn't enough to handle the acos and DK|||I saw wog beat some nelf on turtle. It was lol. He was going for hunts and wog beat him with like 3 acos hahah|||That's what I meant; not 90 acos, just run over to their base with the start acos. Works vs hunts and orcs if they don't know what they're doing.|||Theres a couple decent strategies similar to this. I know scourge and I lost once to a guy who took a starting wisp and built a AoW in my base. It was up before mine was, he then used it to take out my AoW building, and I was crippled the rest of the game.|||interesting. Are there any decent strategies involving attacking with NE buildings?|||construct an ancient near to an enemy's base and attack it :)|||...with the scout wisp. Make sure to place it so it will start attaking a moon well or the altar.|||yeah Ive seen people try to mass ancients early mid game but it didnt do to well vs orcs cus of raiders
